Onome’s work explores the shapes, colours and movement within the circus, capturing the form and poise found in contemporary choreography.
Inspired by the energy and dynamism of performance, Onome’s hand drawn figures are decorated with textiles and recycled materials that have been carefully sourced, collected and arranged. The work focuses on the relationship between the performer and their costume, illustrating the patterns of movement they create together.
